The Department of Defense has identified 3,014 American service members who have died since the start of the Iraq war. It confirmed the deaths of the following Americans yesterday:

SCHOCKMEL, Collin R., 19, Specialist, Army; Richwood, Tex.; Second Infantry Division.

WRIGHT, Gregroy A., 28, Sgt., Army; Boston; First Infantry Division.
